JM Financial: Urgent A3 Colour MFP on Rental

Overview of the Customer

JM Financial Services Ltd. is part of one of India’s established broking and financial-services groups. Its head-office teams produce a steady mix of A3 and A4 output, in colour and mono, and needed a device that could handle all of it without a capital purchase.

The Challenge

JM Financial’s technology team needed a colour multifunction printer for its head office that could handle both A3 and A4 output and match a Canon iR-ADV DX C3822 class device. The requirement was marked urgent, and the team did not want a capital purchase or a separate toner and service contract to manage alongside it.

The Solution

SNA Infotech proposed the HP Color LaserJet Managed MFP E78523dn, an enterprise A3 colour device from HP’s managed range:

• Print, copy and scan in A3 and A4, colour and mono.
• Two paper trays and a trolley for office-floor placement.
• An all-inclusive rental, with SNA supplying toner, cartridges, spares and service.
• Exclusions limited to the standard “five Ps”: paper, person, place, power and physical damage.

Execution

• Same-day proposal: when the customer flagged urgency on 17 June, SNA sent a proposal and a revised version the same afternoon.
• Approval to delivery in one day: the order arrived on 19 June, and the same day SNA allocated the machine, prepared the delivery challan, logged the installation call and issued the rental services agreement with the device serial number.
• A clear contract: a three-year agreement setting out roles, service responsibilities and billing, signed with the machine on site.

The Results

• In service within about a week of the first request, for an enterprise A3 colour MFP.
• No capital outlay, and one predictable bill covering usage, consumables and service.
• Accountable uptime: an HP-authorised partner is responsible for the device for the full term.

Conclusion

The device mattered less than the turnaround. A proposal the same afternoon, a tax-code answer before it was chased, and allocation, delivery challan, installation call and signed agreement all on the day the order landed — that is what let an urgent requirement close in a week rather than a quarter.
